Android has been the talk of the town since
its launch in2007. The kind of interests that people are showing towards
android mobile phone is itself a testimony to the kind of success that android
has got. Android was a result of the
joint venture of many prominent firms such as that of Google and 86 another.
They formed an alliance called open handset alliance. They soon formed another
group called android open source to take
care of the bug problems that the mobile phone can encounter in its operation.
The updated versions of the android are released from time to time. They all
are named after sandwich. 2.3 was named as Ginger Bread, 3 as Honey Comb and 4
as ice cream sandwich. The android has made it possible to integrate high end
games in the mobile phone itself. It has also made it possible to combine high
speed internet in the phone. Apart from these facilities and many other
installed features in the phone, it is also fun to download the latest
applications and games from the Google Play, which is the application store of
the android. The interest shown by people towards the android is itself a proof
of the magnitude of the success that it has been able to achieve. The good
response from the public has generated a wave of interest in companies to
launch their high end mobiles in android operating system instead of going for
other conventional operating systems. The quality of the mobile phones and the
features have reduced the dependency on desktops and laps and have made it
possible to do our business work through phone itself. Android will get better
as time passes and we can hope that the quality of the phone will also improve
in the coming years.
